Black and a touch of print

I am a big fan of black but I also love bright colours so I always try to combine them as much as possible. Today I decided to wear black shoes and black blazer but bring colour in my outfit with my scarf and my purse.

Christmas presents

Well I think it is safe to say that no matter how old we get, we are always excited about Christmas, especially to receive presents :) My boyfriend knows how much I love shoes so with my guidance he gave me this nude, low heel, peep toe pair. I guess he felt that it was not enough because I had a cute necklace as a complimentary gift! The shoes are from a brand called Cristeen and can be found in Sears and the necklace is from Sfera.

Merry Christmas to everyone! Last night we had our Christmas dinner and although it was just us family, it felt like an occasion to dress up a little bit!

Sunday of chinos and florals

For the day I decided to let  my jeans have a rest, it is Sunday after all!

Black and white

Today it felt like a day to wear black and white, a classic combination of colours.

White tank top by Primark, white oversized shirt by H&M, black cardigan by Sfera, jeans by H&M, black ballerina flats by Primark, black and white cat pattern clutch by ASOS, black sunglasses by Carrera. The necklace was a present a few years back from my boyfriend. He bought it in one of the small shops outside the archaeological site of Teotihuacan where the Aztec Pyramids can be found, outside Mexico City. It is made by artisans using the traditional material of obsidian.

Mixing and matching

By now my love for stripes has become well known I believe! Today I decided to mix patterns and match them with my leopard print ankle boots and my crown print sunglasses. The ankle boots, the purse and the sunglasses are by Primark, the sweater and jeans by H&M and the parka by Kenneth Cole Reaction.

Let the Christmas party season begin!

Today is the first Christmas party of 2012 that I am attending and it is with the ladies from my aquaerobics class. This is the outfit that I decided to wear for the day.

The collar, the sweater and the purse are all by Primark, the skirt and the ballet flats by H&M.

Edimbourg je t'aime!

Well of course I love Edinburgh. I spent a great year in the Scottish capital and even until my last days there I could not believe how beautiful it is! But it appears I am not the only one that loves Edinburgh. Karl Lagerfeld worked his miracle again for Chanel getting inspired by the Scottish heritage and hosting the show there, putting Edinburgh in the map of fashion. More stripes with a hit of ombre please!

Although it is December the weather here is still very warm so I still have the opportunity to wear my summer clothes so my outfit of the day includes my striped 3/4 sleeve t-shirt by Zara, my red studded slippers also by Zara, my black sunglasses by Carrera, my long black skirt by Primark and my precious Marc by Marc Jacobs bag.

By the way I went to the hairdresser the other day and I decided to do something drastic to my hair and I gave in to the trend of ombre! What do you think?

May I call this vintage?

I am pretty sure that everyone of us owns or has owned at a point of his/her life a pair of Converse All Star! They come in every colour, many different materials, styles, they are unisex and you can wear them all year long! In the picture you can see my beige ones and my boyfriend's blue ones. I have had mine since junior high and they are still alive! What about your Converse?
