Tulle and denim

Furs and ducks

Yesterday it was our 7-year anniversary with my boyfriend and we went to have for dinner to celebrate.
The weather was a little fresher last night so I decided that it was maybe my last chance  for a while to wear my fur gilet again now that the weather here is getting so much warmer!

I created the necklace many years ago. All I did was buy the necklace from a street vendor and the rubber duck from the big chain toy store Jumbo in Athens and then put them together!

Colourful beads

At the beginning of February we had a long weekend and we took a small excursion to Zacatecas which is a charming, colonial small city. There I was impressed with the jewellery that indigenous people were making and selling on the street. They use colourful beads and they make little pieces of art. So I decided that I wanted to get one for myself!

I heart pink!

Well I love pink, it is a well known fact among my friends! On Friday I was waiting for my boyfriend to come from work and meet me to go to the movies so in the meantime I went around the shops as expected of me! I have wanted a backpack for a while now and when I saw this one I knew I had to have it! When my boyfriend arrived we went to the shop and showed it to him and he was kind enough to buy it as a present for me!

Saturday Night Fashion

Last night we went to a concert with my boyfriend and some friends. It was indoors and we had designated seats but I still wanted to wear something casual and comfortable. So I decided trousers and flats were my best option!

Denim shirt: ASOS Curve, chinos: Primark, studded slippers: Zara, purse: Patrick Cox. The rose and white gold necklace was a present from my boyfriend for our anniversary some years ago from a local jewellery shop in Glyfada, Athens.

Maxi skirts are back!

Although it is still the beginning of February the weather here is warm already, reaching 30-32 degrees Celsius during the daytime! So the time has come to store the sweaters and start wearing my skirts again! The one I was wearing today was a Christmas present and now I can finally enjoy it :)

Fashion in the details

Whoever reads my blog and knows me in person is aware of the fact that I do not use a lot of jewellery. However, every now and then I come across something handmade, bizarre, beautifully different that gets my attention and I must have. I have had this pair of earrings shaped as Mafalda, the popular comic character which I really like, for some time now. I bought them from a local accessories store close to my house in Athens that unfortunately is not in business anymore.
I decided to show them to you because I was wearing them today and I received a compliment about how I always have a cool something in my outfits so remember that even the small details of an outfit such as earrings can make it special!

Velvet moustache slippers

Last week I went a little bit around the shops not intending to buy anything and of course I went to Zara. These cute emerald coloured slippers that I had seen for some months now and I wanted were on sale with a very good discount and available on my size so I didn't think twice before buying them!
