White shirt updated

A white button shirt is a staple piece for your closet that can be combined with pretty much anything. Of course depending on the look it is easy to fall into the trap of creating an executive officewear mood but you can start by choosing a less ordinary shirt in order to create something more modern and casual. 

Although I own a classic white button shirt, I was very attracted to this one that is far from your typical one. It reserves the characteristic of versatility, giving you the option to combine it with trousers or skirts or even underneath a dress, for more formal or more casual looks but it is far more interesting because of its shape. Also the embroidered element gives it a special, fashionable touch.

So here it is, combined with jeans but far from basic!

Wicker, cobalt and caramel

I know that last week I showed off my Santa Claus present but starting today and for the few posts coming up, you will get to see all the great presents I received for Christmas. The majority of them were fashion-related since people know how excited I get about it :)

So let's start 2017 with another handbag! You know how much I love them and this is just great because it is something out of the ordinary and so colourful that puts me in a good mood! So what goes great with colour? Even more colours of course ;)

Neutral combo

Wearing neutral colours such as grey and black does not mean that you have to look basic. It is all about combining interesting pieces that will awe.

Fringe and crossover

Sales are a perfect excuse to go shopping. Of course sometimes you can get carried away and buy things that you don't necessarily love and you won't really wear just because they are very cheap so beware! Try to buy pieces that are really worth the space in your closet and try looking for the things you really wanted all season but you couldn't afford or you really didn't think they were worth paying the original prices. I found this kimono on my summer sales hunt in H&M and I thought it would be a great addition to my kimono collection, especially since it was 75% off!

T-Rex and Chandler

I love graphic t-shirts and the obvious choice for a casual look for summer is to combine them with a pair of jeans and flat sandals. The cute cat is optional but it does bring the best out of any outfit ;)

Fuchsia and the kitten

Feeling a bit down because it is summertime and you are stuck at work instead of being by the beach/pool? Wear a cute pair of sandals at work and use a bright colour such as fuchsia to cheer you up. It is Wednesday, we are half way to the weekend so smile!

Flatforms and unicorns

The theory that metallic colours such as silver are only suitable for formal outfits and especially high heeled shoes has been long refuted. The great thing about them is that you can combine them with any other colour. So embrace the flexibility that they provide you with and buy a pair that suits your style already!
