Sweaters and coats

Winter here is like a roller coaster: in the same day it can get from 3 to 20 degrees Celsius and in the same week we can get days where the temperature climbs to 30 degrees. So it can be tricky to know how to get dressed. All types of clothing have to be available and ready to go at any time. However coming from a city where winter means low temperatures throughout, I do enjoy the days where the sweaters and coats get to be used!

Stressed gingham

If you are feeling insecure about your belly and that is the reason why you don't wear crop tops, think again. My belly is far from flat but I use my crop tops with high rise skirts so when I lift my arms the belly stays covered and I don't feel self conscious. So try the trick and keep on trend ;)

  • White crop top with kitten print: PRIMARK
  • Red and black gingham full skirt: ASOS CURVE
  • Silver pointy flatforms: ASOS
  • White "Stressed but well dressed" envelope clutch bag: ZARA

Stripes are practically a solid colour so don't hesitate to mix them with other prints.

Blue BOOM

If you want to reduce the casualness of your sweatshirt, maybe you can try combining it with a pearl necklace and a pair of shoes that catches all the attention. It is very probable no one will even notice you are wearing a sweatshirt.

Flatforms and unicorns

The theory that metallic colours such as silver are only suitable for formal outfits and especially high heeled shoes has been long refuted. The great thing about them is that you can combine them with any other colour. So embrace the flexibility that they provide you with and buy a pair that suits your style already!

  • Blue skinny jeans/black socks: PRIMARK
  • Silver pointy flatforms: ASOS
  • Large pink quilted bag: DKNY
