In Greece we don't celebrate Halloween so I am not used to dressing up in disguise for the day. This year like any other I had not really planned something special but 40 minutes before leaving for a Halloween reunion I had an idea. I had everything I needed to dress up like Frida Kahlo, the renowned Mexican painter.  So all I had to do was put on the embroidered dress and rebozo I bought in Oaxaca,my obsidian necklace, transform a plastic headband with the big flowers I use to make flower crowns, make bushy eyebrows with black eye pencil and and put on red lipstick and done!

When you are going for an all black outfit, add coloured accessories to make it more cheerful!

The Beatles and the bunny ears

A casual outfit to wear during the weekend if you have a strict dress code at the office, every day if you are not working or the job allows it and even go to a concert!

Postcards and denim

When on holidays do you buy postcards or am I the only one still sending them out? Call me old fashioned but I believe them to be a great souvenir and a very nice way to show to people that you think of them although you are far away. 

Unfortunately my vacation has come to an end and is there a more fashionable way to commemorate it than this skirt?

A very casual outfit but with the mandatory accent of accessories, in this case this brand new necklace found at a small market of local designers held during the weekend!

Leather and polka dots

Who says you should be sceptical of how much use you can get off leather clothes? This skirt has become a staple item for my winter season outfits for the last couple of years and has been the solution to many of my outfit dilemmas!

A visit to the men´s department

We women are so lucky when it comes to fashion. The choices are infinite and top of all, the trends allow us to pick things even from the boys department! So naturally when I saw this tank top with the cat print in the men´s section I just could not resist!
