Chandler and the embellished sweatshirt

Remember how yesterday I was telling you about Phoebe coming into our lives? Well the initial plan was to adopt just one cat but another little guy caught our eye as well. He was definitely more active and playful than Phoebe, I held him in my arms and he gave me the same look as Phoebe asking me to take him home with me. We discussed about adopting both cats and if it was completely crazy but then we decided that it was something that we could handle. Besides while we are not at home they have one another to play with so we took Chandler to be part of our family too.

Phoebe and the fur gilet

Even if you don´t know me personally you might have realized by my blog that I love cats. I grew up with a cat named Aggelos that arrived at the house when I was 7 years old and he died a few years ago after having lived a long, happy, grumpy life with our family. A few weeks ago having moved to a house that pets are allowed Dany and I decided to adopt a kitten. We went to an Open House for Adopting Cats organized by a local organisation called Adopta Monterrey. We entered a room full of kitten and also adult cats, all in need of a home and love. We were looking around for a few minutes. Phoebe was in a cat bed sitting with another cat and as soon as I saw her I felt that she could be the one. I held her in my arms and when she looked into my eyes I felt like she was telling me that she wanted to come with me. So what could I do? It was like a great sale that I couldn't resist. I signed the papers quickly and we took her home.

Classic with a mix

After various seasons of exclusively colourful coats, I have decided it is time to add a black one to my collection since winter doesn´t seem to be ready to go just yet and it is a classic after all. But of course I went for a mix of materials to keep things interesting ;)

Of course when you don´t buy it full price you run the risk that it will be gone by the time sales start or not find it on your size. But if you do find it it means it was meant to be, right? Black or cobalt

Cobalt is the best bright colour because it is not that bright so it can be used easily throughout the year! Its best companion for winter is black and in order to create an interesting look use them as a canvas to play with textures :)

New Year Resolutions Part 1

All of us take decisions for the new year at the beginning of it but some of them are never to become reality. I decided to start with something small that I could easily do and now I can say mission accomplished! Out with the blonde, in with the red/copper! I doubt I am going to last with this colour the whole year since I am one of the girls who love to change their hair quite often but for now I am happy to say that my first New Year resolution has been fulfilled :)
