Sparkles and moustaches

Are you aware of the mini bag trend? It has been around since last year and it is still going strong. Although mini bags look cute, they don't fit many things so for a girl like me that wants to carry around a lot of stuff they are not very practical. However it was hard to resist so when I saw this one on sale in Zara I thought I would give it a go. It may not be the most appropriate bag for going to the office every day but it will certainly do for a dinner out with friends during the weekend!

  • Black tights: PRIMARK
  • Black sparkly sneakers: CARVELA KURT GEIGER
  • Grey mini cross body bag in imitation crocodile skin: ZARA

Venice and glitter

Sneakers have always been associated with exercising, however in the past years they have become very fashionable and you can wear them with skirts, dresses, trousers etc. Although they became a trend I thought that I was not really going to buy into it, since I didn't feel that they were really my style, just a pair for the occasional workout was enough for me. But how things have changed! Now I own 5 pairs of sneakers and I have to admit that I find them very versatile and my feet are thankful! Here you can see the latest addition to my collection. Who can resist pink glitter??

  • Venice print pencil skirt: FOREVER 21+

Gold and bold

I consider myself to be pretty versatile when it comes to my looks. I can use any colour and I don't mind playing it safe or matching bold colours and prints., depending on my mood. I have had this coral shirt dress for quite some time now and I really love it because it is super comfortable and I always receive positive comments about it. I decided it was time to go for a clashing combination with this very casual, print jacket and use some gold accessories. And there you have it!

Culottes and Melissas

It is the middle of February and yet the weather feels already spring/summer. Although I like winter weather and I hope that my coats will get a final chance to leave the closet before the heat officially arrives, I can't complain for getting the opportunity to wear my brand new shoes that came to me all the way from Brazil :)

No red/pink Valentine

Please don't think that I am a hater but Valentine's Day is not something really extraordinary for me. Don't get me wrong: I completely believe in love and although the older I get the less romantic I become (I have to be honest here), I just think that you don't need a specific day to give the one you love flowers, chocolates or special attention.  However I respect the fact that it is something that many people will be celebrating so you will need an idea for an outfit. Even though you know I adore pink, I find it quite boring to use this colour or red for the occasion since everybody else is doing it. Red lips are fine but I am going for a different outfit such as a pretty floral dress and adding an edge with a biker jacket.

  • Long white dress with flower print: ROSS
  • Black chelsea heeled ankle boots: H&M
